Branded gifts under the 500 CZK limit

• The item must carry your name or logo

  Under §25(1)(t) of the Czech Income Tax Act, a promotional item counts as a deductible expense only if it bears the giver’s business name or trademark. The bag’s label is printed with yours.

• Up to 500 CZK per item, excluding VAT

  The limit applies to the price of one item. The bag is priced in euros below 500 CZK at current exchange rates; Koftera is not a VAT payer, so no VAT is added.

• Above the limit, it’s entertainment

  Gifts that cost more are usually treated as entertainment expenses, which a company can’t deduct. That’s why the bag exists alongside our bigger boxes.
